Jason Lesteberg is a former American ice hockey center and coach. Originally from Burnsville, Minnesota he would play for Burnsville High School for the 1989-90 season. He would then play a season of junior hockey with the Sioux City Musketeers and the St. Paul Vulcans of the United States Hockey League for the 1990-91 season. He would play for the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties men's ice hockey team from 1992-93 to 1995-96. Upon graduation he would stay on as an assistant coach for the Golden Gusties from 1996-97 to 1999-00 until he was named head coach of the Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers women's ice hockey team for the 2000-01 season compiling a 13-13-1 record. He would serve as the head coach of the Bemidji State Beavers women's ice hockey team for the 2001-02 season compiling a 12-13-8 record. He would then serve as the head coach of the St. Cloud State Huskies women's ice hockey team from 2002-03 compiling a 46-87-6 record.
