Playing career 2009–present


Jan Mandát (born on November 18, 1995 in Jihlava) is a Czech ice hockey center currently playing with the HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Tipsport Extraliga.

Club career[]

Mandát began his junior career with the HC Dukla Jihlava organisation. He made his senior debut in the 2012-13 season playing 1 regular season game and 2 play-off games with the HC Dukla Jihlava of the 1. Liga while also playing 5 games with the HC Dukla Jihlava junior team and 43 regular season games and 8 play-off games with the HC Dukla Jihlava under-eighteen team.

In 2013, Mandát moved to North America to play with the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL. He played there in the 2013-14 season and also began there the 2014-15 season, but after 7 games played, he moved to the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL. He finished there the 2014-15 season and also played the whole 2015-16 season.

After the end of his junior career, Mandát spent the 2016-17 season with the Albany Devils of the AHL and the next season with the Binghamton Devils of the AHL.

Since 2018, Mandát is playing with the HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Tipsport Extraliga. He is signed there until the end of the 2020-21 season. In the 2018-19 season, he also played 2 games on loan with the HC Dukla Jihlava of the Chance Liga (formerly 1. Liga).

International career[]

Mandát played with the Czech National Team at the 2015 World Junior Championship.
