Jan Ludvig (born September 17, 1961, in Liberec, Czechoslovakia) is a former professional ice hockey forward. He played in the National Hockey League with the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres.

Ludvig played for HC Litvínov in his native Czechoslovakia and played for his native country in the 1979 European Junior Championship. In 1981 he went to North America and played junior hockey for the St. Albert Saints and the Kamloops Junior Oilers.

The New Jersey Devils signed him as a free agent in 1982 and he was a regular for the team until 1987. His best year was 1983-84 when he scored 22 goals for the team. In 1987 Ludvig was traded to the Buffalo Sabres for Jim Korn but injuries limited him to 26 games over two seasons. He retired in 1989.

Ludvig scored 54 goals and 87 assists in 314 NHL games. In his seven year NHL career, he never played in a playoff game.

He is currently a scout with the HC Benátky nad Jizerou and a development coach with the Bílí Tygři Liberec.
