Jan Hladonik (born on August 18, 1999 in Třinec) is a Czech ice hockey left winger/center currently playing with the HC Energie Karlovy Vary of the Tipsport Extraliga.
Club career[]
Hladonik began playing junior hockey with the HC Oceláři Třinec organisation. He made his senior debut during the 2016-17 season when he played 4 games with the HC Oceláři Třinec of the Tipsport Extraliga and 4 games with their farm club, the HC Frýdek-Místek of the WSM Liga. He also played 36 regular season games and 12 play-off games with the HC Oceláři Třinec under-20 team.
In 2017, Hladonik moved to North America in order to play with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL. He spent there one season before moving back to Europe.
In the 2018-19 season, Hladonik played 3 regular season games and 7 play-off games with the HC Oceláři Třinec under-19 team, 16 games with the HC Oceláři Třinec of the Tipsport Extraliga and 32 games with the HC Frýdek-Místek of the Chance Liga (formerly WSM Liga).
The 2019-20 season was Hladonik's first fully senior one. He played 19 games with the HC Oceláři Třinec of the Tipsport Extraliga and 28 games with the HC Frýdek-Místek of the Chance Liga.
In the 2020-21 season, Hladonik played with the HC Energie Karlovy Vary of the Tipsport Extraliga. He is signed there until the end of the 2020-21 season.
International career[]
Hladonik represented Czechia at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament (winning there a gold medal), 2017 World U18 Championship and at the 2019 World Junior Championship.
