John E. (Jack) Adams (born 5 May 1920, date of death unknown)[1][2] was a professional ice hockey Left winger in the National Hockey League. He was born in Calgary, Alberta.
Playing Career[]
Jack Adams, not to be confused with Jack Adams, the long-time coach of the Detroit Red Wings, played 42 regular season games and three playoff games for the Montreal Canadiens in 1940–41. During the regular season, he scored 6 goals and 18 points and during the playoffs, he was held pointless. He only played that one season in the NHL.
He had played junior hockey with the Calgary Canadians in 1936-37. From 1942 to 1944 he played senior hockey in western Canada with military teams.
