Ivan Vishnevskiy (born February 18, 1988) is a Russian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Playing career[]
Vishnevskiy plays as a defenceman and was selected 27th overall in the first round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars. He is currently playing for the Peoria Rivermen in the American Hockey League, and made his National Hockey League debut in 2008–09, appearing in three games for the Stars. He was Rouyn-Noranda's second pick in the 2005 CHL Import Draft and was selected for the 2006 Top Prospects game.
