The Ironwood Lumberjacks formerly the Wisconsin Lumberjacks are a Junior A level team thay play in the Superior International Junior Hockey League beginning with the 2019-20 season. The team was originally based out of the Spooner Civic Center in Spooner, Wisconsin as the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.
On August 7, 2024 the SIJHL announced that it had unanimously approved the relocation of the Wisconsin Lumberjacks to Ironwood, Michigan for the 2024-25 season. The team would be renamed the Ironwood Lumberjacks and will be based out of the Pat O'Donnell Center.[1]
