Ilya Solarev (born August 2, 1982) is a Kazakh professional ice hockey winger who currently plays for Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).[1] He was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 9th (281st overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
He participated at the 2008 IIHF World Championship Division I, 2009 IIHF World Championship Division I, and the 2010 IIHF World Championships as a member of the Kazakhstan men's national ice hockey team.
