Hugo Carpentier (born March 17, 1988 in Hull, Quebec) is a professional ice hockey centre currently with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. Carpentier was drafted in the fourth round (118th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames.
Junior career[]
Carpentier began his juniors career in 2004 when he signed with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In four seasons with Rouyn-Noranda, Carpentier scored 204 points in 257 regular season games and 32 points in 43 post season games including leading the Huskies to the 2008 President's Cup Finals, where they would lost to the Gatineau Olympiques four games to one.
Professional career[]
Carpentier would began his professional career in 2008 when Calgary assigned him to the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League. In November, Calgary would reassign Carpentier to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.
