Hugh Harris (born June 7, 1948, in Toronto, Ontario) is a former professional ice hockey centre. He played in the National Hockey League for one season with the Buffalo Sabres; most of his career was spent in the World Hockey Association, where he played for the New England Whalers, Phoenix Roadrunners, Vancouver Blazers, Calgary Cowboys, Indianapolis Racers, and Cincinnati Stingers.

He played Junior "B" with the Weston Dodgers as a prospect for the Montreal Canadiens. Harris turned pro with the Muskegon Mohawks in 1967-68. The Buffalo Sabres claimed him in the intra-league draft in 1971.

Harris played for the Cincinnati Swords in 1971-72 and then made his NHL debut in 1972-73 with the Sabres, scoring 12 goals and 26 assists. However, the Sabres were very deep at centre and Harris opted to jump to the World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1973.

He played for six different WHA teams in six years before retiring in 1978.

In his NHL career, Harris appeared in 60 games. He scored 12 goals and added 26 assists. In the WHA, Harris played in 336 games, scoring 107 goals and 174 assists.
