The Hudson Valley Vipers (originally intended to be the Poughkeepsie Polar Bears) are an American men's senior ice hockey team located in Brewster, New York, and play in the American Premier Hockey League. Their home games are played at Brewster Ice Arena. The team was established in 2023 along with the league.
On December 20, 2024 the team announced that they would be moving their home games to the Brewster Ice Arena in Brewster, New York. Their first game in their new how is scheduled for January 25th.[1] The team was previously located out of the McCann Ice Arena in Poughkeepsie, New York. On January 2nd the team would announce that they were going into "hibernation" for the 2024-25 season citing that "the current travel challenges would hinder their ability to compete at the level they desire".[2]
