The Houghton County Arena is an indoor arena located in Hancock, Michigan. The facility was built in the summer of 1974. The arena opened with 1,500 seats around an NHL sized ice surface. The ice plant was not installed until late 1975. Locker rooms were installed for the arenas primary tenants the Hancock High School hockey team and the men's and women's teams of Finlandia University.
