Holland College Hurricanes
Overview[]
"Hurricanes" is the name of the sports teams of Holland College, located in Charlottetown, PEI. They are now in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association, which has not operated a hockey league since 1987. Holland College was formerly a member of the Island Junior Hockey League (IJHL), a Junior B league, from 2012-13 to 2014-15. They had previously played in the Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League (PEIJHL).

The linked 2015 announcement pointed out the problems of operating a college team in a junior league. There are age restrictions and roster restrictions with teams claiming the rights to players as young as 15. It looks like they are looking for College teams to play.
