The HEOU18AAAHL is a U18 AAA ice hockey league in Ontario. It is governed by Hockey Eastern Ontario. The league would evolve out of the Ontario East Midget Hockey League which dates back to the 2007-08 playing season. The league had been in the discussion stages since the fall of 2004. The Telus Cup eligible league would play as a stand alone league starting with the 2014-15 playing season. The league was formerly known as the HEO Midget AAA Hockey League. The league was renamed after the 2019-20 playing season following the lead of Hockey Canada when it renamed the Midget category to U18.
Most of the league's games are played at either the Bell Sensplex or the Richcraft Sensplex.
Late in 2022 Hockey Eastern Ontario would announce a "reset plan" of the AAA program in the district. As part of the reorganization the league will be cut to six teams, three in the east and three in the west. Changes were also announced for the U16AAA, U15AAA, U14AAA, U13AAA, and U12AAA programs.
As part of the re-organization all 15 league members are replaced by six newly created teams.
Teams (2023-24)[]
Note:Due to the reorganization of the league teams don't necessarily have a true home arena or community as many teams are regional and are playing home games out of multiple rinks in the Eastern Ontario region.
