Cholet Les Dogs HC

Hockey Club Choletais (abbreviated to HCC) is a French ice hockey club. At first the team was named Cholet's Dogs. The club is based in Cholet in Maine-et-Loire, playing at the second national level (Division 1) since the 2013-2014 season. The start of the 2014–15 season was difficult for the Dogs, with a single point collected in four days. Since September 2009, a para hockey team has been operating as well

This club was founded in 1977 within the Association Jeune France de Cholet. In 1992, the Club gained its autonomy. Initially moving to Division 3 for his first season in 1992–93, they joined the 2nd Division at the end of the 1993–94 season after finishing second in the French Championship. The 96/97 season allowed him to reach the 1st division after their winning the title of French Champion D2. However, at the end of the 2000-2001 season, the Dogs were relegated to [FFHG Division 2|2nd Division]]. After several times at the door of the qualification to go up in D1, the Dogs won at the end of the 2012–13 season, the title of Champion de France D2, synonymous with a rise in D1.
