The High Prairie Red Wings are a junior hockey team that began play with the 2019-20 season as a member of the Western Division of the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League. The team is based out of the High Prairie Sports Palace in High Prairie, Alberta.
The team was to be based out of the AGT Foods Centre in Rosetown, Saskatchewan as the Rosetown Jr. Red Wings. The team would join the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League for the 2019-20 season. However the team would relocate to High Prairie and would then be replaced by the former Edmonton Academy Wings franchise in assuming the High Prairie Red Wings name.
The team would be part of the move to the National Junior Hockey League (Canada) when the GMHL decided to discontinue its' West Division after the 2022-23 season.
