The Hennepin Nordiques were a Tier I Junior "A" team in New Hope, Minnesota. They played in the Midwest Junior Hockey League from 1975 to 1977 and the United States Hockey League in 1979-80. The team would then move to Waterloo, Iowa for the 1980-81 season and became the second incarnation of the Waterloo Black Hawks, as the original franchise moved to Dubuque, Iowa and became the Dubuque Fighting Saints
They won the Clark Cup and Anderson Cup in 1979-80.
