Vadeko Flyers Heerenveen is a professional ice hockey team in Heerenveen, The Netherlands. They play in the Dutch Eredivisie, the highest-level hockey division in the Netherlands. Home games are played at the Thialf.
History[]
The Haje Flyers were founded in 1967 and played their first season in the Eredivisie in 1971-72. The Flyers set the Eredivisie record for the most consecutive championships with 7 between 1976 and 1983. Heerenveen is the smallest city currently represented in the Eredivisie.
