Rink History[]

The men's team would be started with the 1897-98 playing season.  The would use an outdoor rink in Franklin Park in Boston from 1894 to 1904 and an outdoor rink at Harvard Stadium from 1904 to 1911. They would move into the Boston Arena in 1911 and played their until the arena was heavily damaged by fire in late 1918. They would then play outdoors at the Pavilion Rink in Cambridge for two seasons until the Boston Arena re-opened. They would call the Boston Arena home until the Donald C. Watson Rink opened in 1956. The rink was enclosed during the 1978-79 season forcing the team to use other rinks in the area. The facility would reopen in 1979 as the Bright Hockey Center.
