The Harricana League was an intermediate A league in Northwestern Quebec. The league operated from 1962-63 to 1969-70. It had formerly been the Northwest Quebec League, though a Junior B league by this name did run in 1959-60 - the renamed Northwest Quebec Junior B League.
The league was re-classified as Senior for the 1964-65 season due in a large part to the fact that senior hockey had collapsed in the rest of the region. It was the only senior league left and in fact there was no other Intermediate A league left, either. It reverted back to intermediate from 1966-1968, before being classified as Senior again for 1968-69. It folded after operating as an intermediate league in 1969-70.
An earlier incarnation of the league ran from 1945-46 to 1952-53.
