Hannah Armstrong (born April 19, 1992) is a women's ice hockey player that has competed for the Canadian National Women's Under 18 team.
Playing career[]
In 33 games of the 2009-10 PWHL season, Armstrong registered 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists). She competed with Team Ontario Red at the 2009 Canadian Under 18 National Championships. Armstrong was part of Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team to a gold medal at the 2010 IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship in Chicago. As a member of the gold medal winning squad, a hockey card of her was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series.[1] In addition, she participated in the Canada Celebrates Event on June 30 in Edmonton, Alberta which recognized the Canadian Olympic and World hockey champions from the 2009-10 season .[2]
NCAA[]
In the 2010-11 season, Armstrong participated in 29 games with the Wildcats. Armstrong registered three goals and five assists. All three goals were scored on the power play, and it tied for the team lead on the Wildcats. In a game versus the St. Lawrence Skating Saints, she scored the game winning goal. In back to back games (versus RPI and Union), Armstrong assisted on the game winning goals. On October 8, 2010, she earned her first career NCAA point (an assist vs. Syracuse). Versus Union on October 16, she had a career high two points (one goal, one assist).
