HC Zemgale/LUA (Latvian: HK Zemgale/LLU) is an ice hockey team from Jelgava, Latvia. It plays in the Latvian Hockey League.
History[]
The club was founded in 2001 and in 2002 and took part in the Latvian Hockey League. Its affiliate, Hanza/Zemgale Jelgava, participated in the Latvian First League (Pirmā līga).[1] In the 2002-03 season, the club took part in the Eastern European Hockey League Division B. The club then took part in the Latvian Hockey League until it folded in 2005.
