Greg Fox (born August 12, 1953 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

Fox started his National Hockey League career with the Atlanta Flames in 1977. He also played for the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins. He retired after the 1985 season.

He played for the University of Michigan from 1972 to 1976. While there, he was chosen 162nd overall by the Atlanta Flames in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. In 1976-77 and 1977-78 he played mostly in the minor pros.

In 1978-79, in his rookie season for the Flames, Fox was traded to the Chicago Black Hawks. He played three full seasons and parts of two more with the Hawks as a steady defensive defenceman.

Fox was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the middle of the 1983-84 season as part of a rebuilding effort by the Hawks. He quit after the 1984-85 season after being sent down to the Baltimore Skipjacks.

In the NHL, Fox played 494 games and scored 14 goals and 92 assists.
