Glacier Gardens (later just refered to as "The Arena" was an indoor arena in San Diego, California. The arena opened in 1939. It was located just south of where Petco Park is presently located. It hosted the Pacific Coast Hockey League's San Diego Skyhawks from 1944 to 1950. The arena held 5,000 people. It also appears to have hosed another incarnation of the Skyhawks which played in the California Hockey League (1957-1963) for the 1960-61 and 1961-62 seasons. The arena was subdivided a few years later and became obsolete when the San Diego Sports Arena opened in 1966. It was torn down a few years later.
