Gerrygray

Gerry Gray (born January 28, 1948 in Brantford, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played eight games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders.

He played junior hockey for the Hamilton Red Wings from 1965 to 1968, which meant that his pro rights belonged to the Detroit Red Wings. Gray played in the Wings' minor pro system through the 1971-72 season, appearing in seven games for the Red Wings in their disastrous 1970-71 season.

In 1972 Gray was traded to the expansion New York Islanders where he played in one more NHL game. He played in the minor pros until 1974 and then played four seasons of senior hockey in Ontario.
