is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played in 92 NHL games for the California Golden Seals over two seasons. He also played in 17 WHA games with the Calgary Cowboys during the 1976–77 season.
He played major junior with the Saskatoon Blades, Victoria Cougars, and the Flin Flon Bombers. The St. Louis Blues drafted him 24th overall in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft but he was traded to he Philadelphia Flyers and then the California Golden Seals before playing a game in the NHL.
After playing for the Golden Seals and the Cowboys, Pesut left for Europe in 1978 and played there (except for the 1980-81 season) until he retired in 1993.
