Gavin Bayreuther (born May 12, 1994) is an American ice hockey defenceman. Bayreuther is currently playing for the NCAA Division I St. Lawrence Saints men's ice hockey team which competes in the ECAC Hockey conference.

Bayreuther played junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) where he was named to the 2012–13 USHL All-Rookie team. Undrafted,[1] he enrolled at St. Lawrence University to play under head coach Greg Carvel. In his freshman year, Bayreuther's outstanding play was rewarded when he was selected as 2014 ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year[2] and named to both the 2013-14 ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team and the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team.[3]
