Gary Simmons (born July 19, 1944 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), is a former ice hockey goaltender. He played parts of 4 seasons in the NHL with the California Seals, Cleveland Barons, and Los Angeles Kings.

He played junior hockey for the Edmonton Oil Kings until 1965. After that he played senior hockey for the Conception Bay Cee Bees and the Calgary Stampeders plus stops in the International League, the Central League, and the Western League.

In 1974 he was traded to the California Golden Seals and made his NHL debut in 1974-75. Simmons played two and a half seasons with the Seals and the Cleveland Barons. He was accquired in 1977 by the Los Angeles Kings but only saw limited action. He retired in 1979.

Simmons played in a total of 107 NHL games with a Goals against average of 3.48.
