
Gary Ray Holt (Born January 1, 1952 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played 101 games in the National Hockey League for the Cleveland Barons and California Golden Seals. Holt now resides in Spokane, Washington.
He played junior hockey for the Niagara Falls Flyers frm 1970 to 1972. Undrafted by any NHL team, Holt turned pro in the International League in 1972-73. The California Golden Seals signed him as a free agent in 1973, and he spent the next two seasons with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. Holt played 48 games for the Seals in 1975-76 and two for the Cleveland Barons in 1976-77.
The St. Louis Blues signed him in 1977 and Holt played 49 games for them that season. Holt played one more year for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles and then retired in 1979.
He played in 101 NHL games and scored 13 goals and 11 assists.
