Gaëtan Boucher (b. May 5th 1956 in Princeville, Quebec, Canada) is a former professional forward who spent the most part of his playing career in Switzerland. He holds both Canadian and Swiss nationalities.
Gaëtan Boucher established a record in 1969 for the most goals scored at the Tournoi international de hockey pee-wee de Québec, with 24[1]. His record still holds today, despite the fact that several future stellar Hall of Famers such as Mario Lemieux or Wayne Gretzky played after he did in the tournament.
Boucher was a member of the Swiss National Team at the 1988 Olympics in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He also defended the colours of his adoptive country at the 1987 World Championship B and at the 1990 World Championship.
Today, Boucher has come back to his native province of Quebec, where he teaches physical education in Arthabaska[2].
