Fred Edward Arthur (born March 6, 1961 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 3 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Hartford Whalers and Philadelphia Flyers. Rather than accept a demotion to the minors in October 1982, he retired to attend medical school.
He won back-to-back Memorial Cups with the Cornwall Royals in 1980 and 1981.
