"Brigade" was the proposed name of the independent collegiate transfer team with players representing University of the Fraser Valley, Columbia Bible College, Ashton College, Summit Pacific College, and CDI College. The team was to be located in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, British Columbia and operate in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL) starting in 2022-23. However, the team never got off the ground.

Member Institutions[]

University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)[]

"Cascades" is the name of the sports teams from the UFV, located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. It was formerly known as Fraser Valley College when established in 1974, then became University College of the Fraser Valley in 1988, and UFV in 2008. UFV is a member of the Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) and U Sports, however have never participated in the men's or women's hockey leagues. They were in the BCIHL from 2005-06 to 2010-11.

Columbia Bible College (CBC)[]

"Bearcats" is the name of the sports teams from the CBC, located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. CBC is a member of the Pacific West Athletic Association (Pac West or PWAA) and Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) however there is no longer a Pac West hockey league and CBC has never participated in the BCIHL.

Ashton College, Summit Pacific College, and CDI College[]

These institutions are not members of any athletic conference nor have they operated hockey teams in the past.
