The Franklin Pierce Ravens are the men's hockey team representing Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. The school was chartered on November 14, 1962 as Franklin Pierce College, the school was renamed Franklin Pierce University on July 1, 2007. Both of the hockey teams area based out of the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

Men's Program[]

The program dates back to 1968. The men's program is a Men's Division II team formerly competing in the D-III ECAC Northeast and now in the Division-II Northeast Ten conferences. The men's varsity program was established for the 2002-03 season. The team played in the ECAC Northeast from 2002 to 2009 while also playing a partial schedule in the Northeast-10. The team then joined the school's all-sports home, the Northeast-10 full time for the 2009-10 season.

The men's program was hit with the loss of second year head coach Bruce Marshall who passed away in his sleep October 15, 2016.

On May 9, 2017 Sean Millerick (Becker '14) was named the sixth head coach in the programs history.

Notes:

  • The team cancelled its' final 3 games of the 2015-16 season due to a hazing incident.
  • For the 2009-10 to 2016-17 seasons the conference had two teams (St. Michael's and St. Anselm) that also played in the ECAC East and would only play each of the other teams in the conference once causing the league to have so that each team only had five games that actually counted in the league standings.
