Francois Fortier (born June 13, 1979, in Beauport, Quebec) is a Canadian left winger playing for the Vienna Capitals of the Erste Bank Hockey League.
He played junior hockey for the Sherbrooke Faucons/Castors from 1996 to 1999. Undrafted by any NHL team, Fortier spent three seasons in the American Hockey League and the ECHL.
Fortier moved to Germany in 2002, playing for the Schwenningen Wild Wings, Hamburg Freezers, and Augsburger Panther. In 2010, Fortier went to Austria and joined the Capitals, winning the league scoring championship in 2010-11.
