
The Foam Lake Flyers is an amateur senior hockey team based in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. They have been in existence since 1948. Many notable players and coaches have been a part of this team. Buzz Boll coached the team for a few years in the late 1940s. He was a former NHL hockey player. Former Flyers also include Hockey Hall of Fame honored member Bernie Federko, Canadian Olympian Ted Hargreaves and many former junior stars including the Washington Capitals draft pick Jeff Lucky. The Foam Lake Flyers were a member of the Fishing Lake Hockey League, the oldest continuously-run senior hockey league in Saskatchewan.
The team would join the Wheatland Hockey League for either the 2013-14 or 2014-15 season. They would move to the Long Lake Senior Hockey League for the 2018-19 season.
