Flin Flon is a town of about 5500 people in northwestern Manitoba.

It is located on the border with Saskatchewan. This accounts for the town sometimes being in leagues under the Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association.

  4. Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (1950-1966) join Manitoba Junior Hockey League
  5. Manitoba Junior Hockey League (1966-1967) join Western Canada Hockey League
  6. Canadian Major Junior Hockey League (1967-1968) see Western Canada Hockey League
  7. Western Canada Hockey League(1968-1978) moved to Edmonton, become Oil Kings, when sponsorship of Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Co. stopped and team was sold. Local interests help form the NorMan Junior Hockey League
  1. NorMan Junior Hockey League (1978-1984) join Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League
  2. Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (1984-CURRENT) known as Creighton Bombers from 1984-1986) due to league rule about teams being based in province of Saskatchewan, league rules were changed and team reverted to Flin Flon Bombers name
