He made his senior debut playing 1 regular season game and 4 relegation games on loan with the Bílí Tygři Liberec's farm team, the HC Benátky nad Jizerou of the 1. Liga, during the 2012–13 season while also playing 7 regular season games and 1 play-off game with the Bílí Tygři Liberec under-eighteen team and 38 regular season games and 5 play-off games with the Bílí Tygři Liberec junior team. He made his first senior appearance for the Bílí Tygři Liberec in the 2013 European Trophy.[1]

In the 2013-14 season, Pyrochta played 6 play-off games with the Bílí Tygři Liberec under-eighteen team, 11 regular season games and 4 play-off games with the Bílí Tygři Liberec junior team and 38 regular season games and 6 play-off games on loan with the HC Benátky nad Jizerou of the 1. Liga.

With an ambition to reach the NHL, Pyrochta opted to continue his development by playing major junior hockey in North America. He was selected in the first round, 23rd overall, by the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL at the 2014 CHL Import Draft. After playing the 2014-15 season with the Tigres, he also began there the next season but after 30 games played, Pyrochta moved to the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL where he finished the season with 31 regular season games and 6 play-off games played.

After that, Pyrochta returned to the Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Tipsport Extraliga for the 2016–17 season.[2] He played his first season in the Tipsport Extraliga, posting 6 points in 43 regular season games as the Bílí Tygři Liberec lead the league with 103 points. He added 1 point in 11 play-off games as the Bílí Tygři Liberec lost in the finals. In this season, Pyrochta also played 22 games on loan with the HC Benátky nad Jizerou of the WSM Liga (formerly 1. Liga) scoring 12 points.

In his second season with the Bílí Tygři Liberec in 2017–18, Pyrochta recorded three goals and 12 points in 42 regular season games and 8 points in 10 play-off games as a 21-year-old. He also played another 12 games on loan with the HC Benátky nad Jizerou.

On May 7, 2018, having showed a continued development, Pyrochta was signed to a two-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators of the NHL.[3] Pyrochta played the 2018-19 season with the Predators' farm teams, to be more specific, 30 games with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL and 21 games with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL. On May 25, 2019, the Predators and Pyrochta mutually parted ways,[4] and on May 28, he signed a contract with the HC Kometa Brno of the Tipsport Extraliga.[5] He is signed there until the end of the 2022-23 season.
