Breanne Frykas has competed for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team in numerous tournaments. Currently she competes for the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program.
Playing career[]

At the 2007 Canada Winter Games, Frykas won a silver medal with Team Manitoba. In 2007-08, she won the Balmoral Hall, Hartney and Saskatoon tournaments with the Balmoral Hall Blazers. With the Blazers, she was part of the 2006 Mac's Tournament, recorded the best plus/minus at the tournament, and was named to the tournament's first all-star team.
Frykas won a bronze medal with Team Manitoba in 2007 and 2008 at the National Women's Under-18 Championship. At Birmingham Marian high school in Michigan, Canadian Breann Frykas and Madison Packer played together. They would also compete for their respective countries in the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation’s Women’s under-18 World Championship in Germany from Jan. 5-10. While in Michigan, she also played for the Detroit Little Caesars

Her first season with the Wisconsin Badgers was 2009-10. On October 11, she scored the first goal and point of collegiate career against Bemidji State. She played in all 36 games and had eight points (seven goals, one assist). In 2010-11, she has six points on two goals and four assists. On October 1, she earned a career-best two assists against RPI. Against Bemidji State, she had one goal and an assist (Oct. 10)[1] Frykas scored the game winning goal for Quinnipiac at the 2011 Nutmeg Classic.[2]
Hockey Canada[]
She won a silver with Team Canada at the IIHF World Women's Under-18 Championship. In August 2008, she was part of the Canadian team that engaged in a three-game series against the USA in Lake Placid, NY. In addition, she attended Canada's National Women's U-18 Team selection camp and Canada's National Women's U-18 Team strength and conditioning skating camp 2007 and 2008.
