ČEZ Arena

The ČEZ Aréna is an indoor arena in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It opened in 1986 and underwent a €23.3 million reconstruction in 2003–2004.

It is the home of ice hockey club HC Vítkovice, and one of the two arenas used for the 2004 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships (the other being the Sazka Arena in Prague).

The capacity of the arena is 9 000, plus 18 luxury boxes. The rink can be converted into seating for concerts, increasing the capacity to 12,000.
