This is the 1958-59 season of the Western Hockey League. It was the seventh season of the league.
The Saskatoon/St. Paul Regals became the Saskatoon Quakers. Spokane, which had had a team in the senior Western International Hockey League for over 10 years, got a new team in this league - the Spokane Flyers.
