The Saskatchewan Huskies are an ice hockey team that represents the University of Saskatchewan. They compete in the Canada West Conference in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport athletic program.

History[]

Women have been playing hockey at the University as early as 1912.

The team only rarely played against other university teams in the early years. Its main competition was in the Saskatoon City League which was mostly composed of local high school and college teams.
