This is the 2017-18 North East Senior Hockey League season.  This is the league's 7th season.

Membership Changes[]

  • The Restigouche North Vikings leave the league.
  • Apparently, the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse moved to the Memramcook/Dieppe, New Brunswick area just outside of Moncton.  Memramcook was previously home to the Memracook Maison Levesque Acadiens who played in the league from 2011 to 2014.
  • After having reorganized the team's management structure and forfeiting a November 19th game the Montague Stallions folded after being rejected to withdraw from the league and just competing for the 2018 Atlantic Region Allan Cup Qualifier tournament. The team finished with a 1-5-0 record including the forfeit.[1]
  • On February 21, 2018 the NESHL posted that it was advised that the Memramcook Acadiens would not be able to complete their league requirements and the league playoff round robin tournament was ended with the two remaining teams being scheduled for a best-of-seven series for the league championship.
