Evan Barlow (born 8 November 1985 in Strathmore, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward, who plays for the Elmira Jackals in the ECHL.
Career[]
Early career[]
He started his career with the BCHL team Salmon Arm Silverbacks in 2003. After two seasons, he started at Cornell University of the NCAA.
In 2009, he signed for ECHL team Idaho Steelheads, with a brief stay in the AHL for the Abbotsford Heat.
Moving abroad[]
On 30 July 2010, he signed with Finnish club HIFK where he stayed for a month before moving to Sweden where attended a try-out for Rögle BK. They did not sign him and he returned to Finland.[1][2]
On 14 September 2010, he joined Norwegian club Vålerenga together with fellow Canadian Mark McCutcheon.[3] But was released from his contract on 31 December 2010, and returned to the Idaho Steelheads.
