
The Esso Cup Central Regional is the final qualifying round for the Esso Cup. The tournament presently involves Ontario Women's Hockey Association.
The first qualifying tournaments were held in 2009 when Hockey Canada established a women's Major midget 's (now U18) national championship in the Esso Cup.
