Ernst Höfner (born Septmeber 21, 1957 in Augsburg, Germany) is a retired German left winger and current coach of the Germany men's national ice hockey team and the Germany men's national junior ice hockey team. He has held these positions since 1999.
His pro career spanned from 1974 to 1992. He played in Germany for Augsburger Panther, SC Riessersee, and Star Bulls Rosenheim. In 666 games Hofner scored 376 goals and 663 assists for 1039 points for sixth place among all-time scorers.
