Erich Kühnhackl (born October 17, 1950 in Citice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech-born German retired ice hockey centre. He won a bronze medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. He was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 1997.

He played for the West Germany at the 1972, 1976 and 1984 Olympics, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1985 World Championships and at the 1974 and 1975 World Championships Group B.

He also has two sons who play or have played ice hockey. The older one named Kevin played only in German 4th and 3rd level league, while the younger one named Tom plays in the NHL (as of 2020)
