Not to be confused with the present day outdoor Empire State Plaza Ice Rink also in Albany.
The Empire Rink is a former rink located in Albany, New York. The arena would serve as the primary home of the RPI Engineers men's ice hockey team from 1902-1912 becoming the team's first long term home rink. The team would relocate to the outdoor RPI Rink on the campus of RPI in 1912 which would become there home until the program was cancelled in 1937.
