The Empire City Skating Rink was located between 3rd and 2nd Aves., 63rd and 64th Sts in New York City from 1868 to 1893.
It is regarded as the birthplace of indoor Ice Hockey, then referred to as Lacrosse on Skates, on March, 8th 1870.
