Edward William Cooper (Born - August 28, 1960 in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey left wing who played 49 games in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Rockies.
He played junior hockey for the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League in 1978-79 and 1979-80. The Colorado Rockies selected him 85th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rockies were very crowded at left wing and Cooper did not get much NHL ice time. He was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in March, 1982, for Stan Weir. In July of that year he was traded back to Colorado for Weir but decided to retire.
He came back to play two seasons for the senior Nelson Maple Leafs of the Western International Hockey League in 1984-85 and 1985-86 and then retired, this time for good.
