The Eastern Townships League was a senior and an intermediate league that operated in the Eastern Townships area of southeastern Quebec.

It operated sporadically from the 1920's to the 1960's. The league champions were eligible for the provincial senior or intermediate championships.

In 1941-42 the Sherbrooke Red Indians refused to advance to the 1941-42 Quebec Senior Playoffs. The Windsor Mills Papermakers advanced in their place.

The league changed its name to the Eastern Provincial League when the Montreal Olympics were admitted in 1961.

The league changed its name to the Provincial Senior League in 1964.
